Tag Heuer Professional 1000 Ref. 989.113N Night Diver Box and Papers

Oh man, this Tag is one of those watches that got me immediately triggered when the offer hit my desk. "What?!", "The dial lights up fully?! All Lume?". 🤯😅 And yes, this beauty still lights up under UV light. Now you probably know why it is called the Night Diver, makes sense doesn't it? This is peak '80s, quirky stuff that really nobody needed, but they had to find some way to compete the masses.

Heuer was taken over around 1985 and this is also where it became Tag Heuer, the brand we know today. This Night Diver was bought in 1986 according to the papers and was a quite early 'Tag Heuer' Professional 1000. Most you will see with the black bezel inlay, but this one has the more rare silver inlay, all in good condition as well. To me that makes it a different watch all over! I mean look at this thing on the jubilee style bracelet, insane!! Pretty clear that I love it, I guess, I am even wearing it while typing this product text. The battery was replaced by me and the movement runs amazing. This one is ready for a new loving home. 🥰
