Piaget Ref. 9742 Wavy Patina Champagne Dial With Original Documentation

Now this is what we live for in the vintage watch hunting game. A dial so unique it went full-on art piece. Started life as a champagne dial, but aged into this wild, stone-textured look. The dial is literally wavy... 🌊🌊 Cherry on the cake: it includes original import papers from Switzerland to France, on top of the original Piaget papers. You almost never see that... The case is in great shape too, probably unpolished. Still got that natural oxidation going on, which just hits right in my opinion. You know it’s been loved but not messed with. Could’ve swapped the dial, sure. But nah, vintage watches are all about the lives they’ve lived, battle scars and all. This one took a little hit back in the day… and came out a damn masterpiece. Let's get wavy, this Piaget surely will help. 😌
