I do not think that it is fair that these are often referred to as a 'Daytona on a budget'. 🤷🏻The watch surely has many design features and even parts from Rolex, but it is a design language on its own. Especially this Pre-Tiger example with the crisp white dial (often referred to as porcelain dial) contrasted by black hands. 🐼 Something that is just not seen with Rolex Daytona models. It may sound weird, but the handset and the bezel make this watch feel way different opposed to any Daytona. Compared to the popular Big Block, this watch mainly has a more modern feel / design and houses the often used Valjoux 7750 Caliber. With this movement you are sure that this watch will last for a lifetime, or even much longer!! 😁
