Orfina Porsche Design Ref. 7177 Military Green
This Orfina Porsche Design is maybe one of the most well-known military used chronographs out there. I would dare to say comparable to the Heuer Bunds. 👀 If you have been looking for these Orfinas for a while, you know that most of them will be either black or grey PVD. However, the green variant is one you do not see too often. This Ref. 7177 is in great condition still, with a bit of wear, but a watch like this should not be NOS in my opinion. They are rugged watches, built with a purpose. I love the red 3H on these dials, it just breaks the dark colourway a bit. 😁
The well-known Lemania 5100 movement was checked by me and is running great for the age. The watch comes on the original, but worn bund strap. Of course another strap can be arranged for daily wear, I would suggest a nice green two-piece canvas.. 😉
