Who does not love a good 1970s design? I know I do! 👀 And this Girard Perregaux Laureato has just that. It has just that and even more... The movement (Caliber 705) was actually quite renewing back in the time, since it was one of the early movements to run on the 32768 quartz Hz frequency still used today. Design and history, all that for a very acceptable price in steel and 14K yellow gold. 😌 For me, the oxidation on this bezel and bracelet really tops it off. I love that the watch shows some age. The bezel has turned almost copper coloured.. Such a warm combination with the detailed clous de Paris dial.. Stunner! 🤌🏻
One sidenote, this watch fits a wrist up until 17cm circumference, meaning it is a small to medium wrist exclusive! 🤭
