You know I love vintage 18K Baume & Mercier.😌 When this one crossed my desk, I just had to pick it up.. It reminds me of the single packed chocolates, the square shape with nice round touches. It almost gets me hungry..🍫 While I was thinking of calling this one 'cocciolatone', I decided not to, I am not really into the nickname thing. Maybe that is something that still has to grow on me. This Ref. 37236 is in stunning condition, the watch really is as good as new considering it is a vintage watch.. The vertical brush dial makes it just a bit more interesting, playing with the light in a very flattering manner. The dial itself is also in as good as new condition. Difficult to beat this one as a dress watch really.. It wears great on my 17.5cm wrist, a charming watch for sure. 🫶🏻
