Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 6634 'Golden Egg' Gold Capped
This is another first for me, an authentic gold capped Rolex and it says 'egg' 🥚 on the dial.. 😅 You can totally understand why I was so triggered by this watch. The reference 6634 was often referred to as the 'Golden Egg', most probably due to its thick gold shell (240 microns). This one has exactly those two words printed on the dial and that makes it quite rare! Not the only reason why I love this one. It is the old style with the slight radium burn and honeycomb surface that is the cherry on the cake.. 🍒 About the dial, it is also in great condition when taking into account that this watch is 70 years old..
